The International Academy for CPD Accreditation opens call-for- comment about proposed standards for substantive equivalency that determine substantive equivalency between CPD accreditation systems.
If you have any questions, please contact Kate at firstname.lastname@example.org
The International Academy for Continuing Professional Development Accreditation (the Academy) is pleased to invite stakeholders to participate in a call-for-comment about the proposed set of international standards to guide the accreditation of continuing medical education/continuing professional development (CME/CPD) for medical doctors (doctors) and health care teams globally.
These proposed standards are based on the feedback that the Academy received from the international community of CPD accrediting bodies and regulators. Our goal is to establish the domains and criteria for recognition of CPD accreditation systems. This recognition is intended to support international regulators in establishing physician educational requirements, and leaders of developing CPD accreditation systems to ensure these core elements are expressed in their CPD accreditation system to achieve international recognition.
To support your participation in the call-for-comment, we have included in this information package the background and purpose of the proposed standards, our approach to the development and revision process, the proposed standards, survey questions, and the original set of substantive equivalency values. We suggest that you review these materials before completing the online survey.
