At the 2021 Cologne Consensus Conference (CCC), the members approved a 2-year pilot of the process and application for Substantive Equivalency.

The timeline used to determine the process is:

Applications due	February 28
Surveys conducted by	July 30
Recommendations submitted to Committee by	August 15
Committee action	At IACPDA annual meeting
Four-year term begins	October 1
